Help for train (alias: trai)

The train command spends your points with a trainer. Skill trainers teach skills for Training Points (TP) and gold. Attribute trainers raise Body, Mind and Spirit for stat points.

You can earn Training Points by earning experience points through combat and quests, and gaining levels.

Each level you train for a skill costs more Training Points than before.

Training also costs gold. If you are short on gold on hand when you train, the missing amount is drawn from your bank account automatically. Training only fails when your purse and your account together fall short.

Ranks and specialization:

  Skills rank up from 1 to 5. Until level 30, every skill caps at rank 3.

  At level 30 you take up a specialization by finding and touching your
  class's pillar in the Dark Willowdale Forest (see classes). From then on,
  the skills your specialization masters can be trained to rank 5. All other
  skills stay capped at rank 3. Specializations are described in the
  helpfile for each skill.

  The class mentors at the Willowdale Academy teach skills up to rank 3.
  Ranks 4 and 5 are taught by trainers farther out in the world.
